Privacy Policy
Effective 24 May 2026.
What we collect
We collect what we need to run the service: your email address, the competitors and URLs you choose to track, the public pages we capture on your behalf, and the delivery settings you configure. We also keep basic operational logs to keep the service secure and reliable.
What we capture for you
Competitron reads publicly available competitor pages and published sources that you add to your watch. Captured pages are stored so a change can be diffed and cited later. This content reflects third parties, not you, and is held against your account so you can review the evidence behind a finding.
How we use it
We use your data to operate the watch, score changes, deliver the briefing, bill your subscription, and support your account. We do not sell your data, and the competitors you track are not reused to build anything we sell to others.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that run the service: payment processing, email delivery, and cloud hosting. Each handles data on our instructions for the purpose of running Competitron. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payments provider. We do not store full card details on our systems; the provider does, under its own security standards.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Captured pages and findings are retained for the history window of your tier. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data. To make a request, or to ask how your data is handled, write to hello@competitron.ai.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
